Someone recently stole four batteries used to run oil well pumps at an oil pad site in the 3500 block of F.M. 60 West.
The batteries were stolen from a Chesapeake Energy oil well site, and company officials reported it on Tuesday, Nov. 26, said Burleson County Sheriff’s Investigator Christine Labertew.
It is unknown at this time when the theft would have occurred, she said.
