A 13-year-old boy was detained on Saturday, Jan. 18, after striking his mother in the arm with a baseball bat at a home in Beaver Creek Subdivision.
The boy got into an argument with his mother at their home on Valley Turn and struck her at about 12:15 p.m., said Burleson County Sheriff’s Investigator Christine Labertew.
