COVID-19 cases hit sheriff’s office

COVID-19 has recently hit the ranks of the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office. Burleson County Sheriff Gene Hermes has confirmed that three patrol deputies have tested positive for the coronavirus. There is also an additional jail employee who possibly has COVID-19, he said. The employee is awaiting test results after having first tested with a possible “false negative” result, Hermes said. …
