The Deanville Volunteer Fire Department had another successful annual fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the fire station, clearing about $50,000 after expenses, Fire Chief Bill Colley said.
Colley said the department is seeking a grant through the Texas Forest Service for a large grass truck, and the money raised will go towards the department’s share of the cost if the grant is awarded.
