Area firefighters battled a series of grass fires over the last week in dry, windy conditions, including one on Monday off County road 316 that burned over 30 acres. Most of the blazes occurred when controlled burns spread to grasses nearby and quickly took off, firefighters said. Fortunately, there was no structural damage in any of the fires. There is no outdoor burning ban in Burleson County…
