Several local city and school elections will have contested races on May 2, however, no one filed for the hospital board’s five seats up for election.
That means the board must appoint five persons to serve.
The seats up for election include those held by Pete Pederson, Barbara Drgac, Kirk Chapman, Michael Bennett and Don Royder.
Those incumbents could be appointed, if persuaded to serve again…
