Somerville hiring PD officers

The Somerville Police Department is steadily getting back to full staffing under Interim Police Chief Otto Arnim. Preston Goode was hired on Aug. 29 for a patrol officer’s position and joins Sgt. James Watson, a nine-year law enforcement officer who already served for two years under previous Chief Craig Wise. Goode, also a peace officer since 2011, joins the force from the Grimes County…
