The Somerville City Council has approved a 67.695-cent tax rate for the 2022-23 fiscal year and a $1,279,391 general fund budget.
The council approved the tax rate and the budget at their Tuesday, Sept. 13, meeting. A public hearing on the tax rate and budget were held prior to the vote.
The 67.695-cent tax rate is slightly less than last year’s 67.924-cent rate.
