The Somerville City Council is calling for a $1.5 million bond election set for Saturday, May 2, for major street rehabilitation and improvements to the water distribution system and sanitary sewer system.
The council approved an ordinance by a 5-0 vote at their Tuesday, Feb. 11, meeting calling for a voter-approved bond election.
It will include two propositions.
