Yeguas to face Mumford this Friday
The Somerville Yeguas held on to their tie for the district lead with road wins over Iola, 9151, on Wednesday, Jan. 17, and over Normangee, 69-56 last Friday.
Somerville improved to 19-5 overall and 3-0 in district play.
Somerville’s defensive pressure and speed paid off in the Iola game as the Yeguas led 36-6 after the first quarter and 54-12 at halftime.
