Terry Alan Ausley

Terry Alan Ausley, 72, owner of Ausley Dozer Service in Caldwell, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a short illness.

A Celebration of Terry’s Life was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Terry graduated from Lee High School in 1970.

Later that year he married the love of his life, Linda Gayle Mullins.

Terry attended Lee Junior College, studying police administration.

During this time he was working as a cadet in the Baytown Police Department. While in training, Terry was shot during a failed armed robbery. He later became a police officer alongside his father, Billy Joe Ausley.

He made many lifelong friends while in Baytown.

In 1980, Terry moved his family to Caldwell and pursued a construction business.

He formed Ausley Dozer Service, TDL, Gate Rental and ADS Oil & Gas. Much of his business was dedicated to serving local businesses, ranches and oil production operations.

Terry enjoyed hunting and wheeling with his family. He was hard working, dedicated and a loyal friend, to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed, and never forgotten.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Linda.

He is survived by his two sons, David and his wife, Emma, and Devin Ausley; daughter, Lisa and her husband, Bryan Allen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
