The funeral service for Genice C. Shivers will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 14, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church.
She was born on May 28, 1928, in New Waverly, to William Clark, Jr. and Betty Pearl Cain Clark.
Genice married Finon Shivers in 1946 and moved to Caldwell where they had and raised five daughters and one son.
Genice retired from Leisure Lodge Nursing Home as a dietary supervisor in 1992.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of Macedonia Baptist Church for over 70 years.
She died on June 8, 2025. She is survived by two siblings; four daughters; four sons-in-law; 27 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 58 great- greatgrandchildren; two greatgreat- great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
