Enos Leland Coker, 89, of Caldwell, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025.
Leland was born on June 3, 1936, in Holland, Texas, to Lela and Enos Coker.
He married Jeanette Friedrich on November 3, 1956.
In January 1957, they moved to Caldwell, where he worked for the Soil Conservation Service.
He later spent 10 years with Alcoa Aluminum in Rockdale before becoming self-employed until his retirement.
Leland loved going dancing with his wife, ranching and visiting with friends over coffee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Leland is survived by his wife, Jeanette Coker; his children, Tommy Coker, Leonard Coker and wife, Arleen, Cheryl Coker, and Weldon Coker and wife, Carol; his brother, John “Pete” Coker; his sister, Linda Johnson; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Dustin Coker, Travis Morton, David Mendez, Lonnie Shepherd, Alvin Paul and Joe Macik.
Honorary pallbearer was Adrian Pastrano.
A visitation was held at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home located at 404 West Buck St., Caldwell, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial followed at Elizabeth Cemetery.
A meal followed at the Elizabeth Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall located at 165 County Road 307, in Caldwell.
