A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Helen Schoppe, 83, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday Nov. 26, 2020, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat with Fr. Melvin Dornak officiating.
Burial will follow.
Mary Helen died on Monday, Aug. 14, 2020, after a valiant battle with COVID-19.
Mary was born on Aug. 11, 1937, in Lyons, Texas, 23, 1950, in Caldwell, Texas to the late Cordus Jackson and Leara Bowser Jackson.
He was the youngest son of eleven children.
Anyone that knew him knew that he loved his family and was a very hardworking man.
He was a loving and supportive husband.
Everyone saw the way he took care of his grandkids; they would always say they wished he was their grandpa.
He was very friendly and never met a stranger and always loved to talk!
He loved his job with Mission Petroleum and was very dedicated. His boss, Dean said, “He was a loyal and dependable worker!”
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Doris Jackson of Tunis Texas; his sons, Lawrence Jackson Jr. of Tunis, Texas Maurice Jackson and wife Rachel, of Caldwell, Wesley Jackson and wife, Melissa of Katy, Texas, and Lorne Martinez Jackson of Tunis Texas; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of neices, nephews family and friends.

Her love for her family and her firm belief in God supported her and gave her peace.
She graduated from Somerville High School.
She was a strong and caring woman who loved her family, gardening, dancing and listening to music.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Schoppe; her mother, Frances Elizabeth Schoppe; and her nephew, Robert Pau Welch Jr.
Mary Helen is survived by her children, Juan Ramon Sanchez, Miguel Sanchez, and Mary Frances Parra and husband, Ignacio Parra; her grandchildren Vianey and husband, Luis Fernando, Luis Eduardo Frances Elizabeth, Maria Alejandra, Gabriela; her great-grandson, Anthony and her siblings, Larry Schoppe, Veronica Fick, and Judi Schoppe-Hargrove.
