An 83-year-old woman died on Friday, July 24, in a fire that destroyed her home in Somerville Place Subdivision off Park Road 4, and the cause of the fire remains unknown and under investigation.
Muriel Lane Burns of 311 Shady Oaks Drive, also known as Shady Oaks Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene by Burleson County Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace Jason Urbanosky.
