The Caldwell Hornets lost their two-game, second- round playoff series with Salado last Friday in Thrall by scores of 19-0 and 10-0.
The losses ended Caldwell’s season at 18-11 overall with a district and bi-district championship.
In game one, Caldwell got behind early 5-0 in the first inning and then suffered a disastrous second inning, giving up 9 runs and trailing 14-0.
