Caldwell’s Ellis qualifies for AAU Junior Olympics

Will compete in 4x800 relay, 2K steeplechase

    Caldwell’s Spencer Ellis has had quite a year.

    He qualified for the Class 4A Region III Cross Country Meet in the fall, finishing 78th with a time of 18:21.50 -- better than his 2023 regional placing of 84th with a time of 18:59.01.

    He also won the Kolache Krunch 5K with a time of 18:04.9, finishing almost 11 seconds ahead of second place runner Douglas Allaire of College Station.
