The Snook Bluejays struggled in a 50-8 road loss to Normangee last week that included a long delay in the second quarter as Jimmy Kearney was taken from the field by ambulance after an injury.
Team members huddled nearby and prayed for Kearney as medics helped him at the scene.
Kearney had scored Snook’s lone TD on a pass from quarterback Brayden Macik in the first quarter.
