The Caldwell Hornets looked like a much improved football team last Friday, battling Lexington to a 28-28 tie in the early third quarter.
With Lexington driving for another possible score with just over 9 minutes remaining in the third quarter, Caldwell, 2-2, was hoping to make a stop and finish with a signature victory that would get them to 3-2 for the first time in a long while.
