The Somerville Yeguas opened their season last week with a 52-35 home loss to Schulenburg on Nov. 24 and a 56-23 road win at Milano on Nov 25.
Somerville trailed 1310 in the first quarter against Schulenburg and 27-20 at halftime, but the Shorthorns took control in the second half with runs of 11-7 in the third quarter and 14-8 in the fourth.
