The Lady Hornets opened district play on the road last Friday night in Bellville, falling to the Brahmanettes 37-29.
Hannah Rae Clark was Caldwell’s top scorer in the game with 11 points.
Other Lady Hornets scoring were: Kaely Brown, eight points; Mayzi Witherwax, four points; Ireland Morgan, two points; Avelyn O’Riley, two points; Lydia Giese, two points.
The JV squad also lost to Bellville 26-16.
