Somerville falls to Granger, St. Joseph to start season

    The Somerville Yeguas lost its opening game last week, 16-15 on Tuesday, Feb. 17, against Granger and 21-5 against St. Joseph, both at home.

    Against Granger, Somerville rallied from an 11-1 deficit in the bottom of the third before scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth to lead 12-11.

    Somerville finished with 8 hits and 3 errors, and Granger had 11 hits and 7 errors.
