The Caldwell Hornets lost to Killeen Chaparral 10-4 on Tuesday, March 10, in Killeen and defeated Anderson- Shiro 6-3 at home last Thursday.
Caldwell was 7-6-1 headed into this week’s games.
Against Chaparral, Caldwell trailed 3-2 going into the fifth inning, but Chaparral boosted its lead to 6-3 in the fifth and shut out the Hornets 4-0 in the final inning.
