The Lady Hornets improved to 2-1, after going 1-1 in district play last week.
Last Tuesday, Caldwell hosted Bellville, falling to the Brahmanettes 9-5.
After falling behind 9-1 by the top of the sixth inning, Caldwell scored four runs to make it a game. However, Bellville kept Caldwell scoreless in the seventh to hold on for the 9-5 victory.
The Bellville bats out hit Caldwell 20-7 in the win.
