Caldwell track phenom Spencer Ellis broke the school record in the boys 3,200-meter run at the Mart Edd Burleson Relays.
Ellis placed second with a time of 10:12.70, breaking the old school record’s time of 10:15.13.
Cristiano Tinoco of Bosqueville won this event with a time of 10:09.50.
