Burleson County commissioners approved the donation of a vehicle from the Sheriff ’s Office to Haven Animal Rescue of Texas (HART) at the Monday, April 27, commissioners court meeting.
The vehicle is a silver 2016 Tahoe with about 135,000 miles, previously used as an investigator’s vehicle.
It was set to be auctioned off, but the sheriff’s office opted to donate it to HART instead.
