A Caldwell police officer arrested an Austin man early Sunday morning, June 28, on a felony drug charge following a traffic stop on State Highway 21.
Melvin Lee Brooks, Jr., 25, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, less than 1 gram, and is now free on $5,000 bond, according to the Burleson County Sheriff ’s Office.
