    The Hornet varsity cross country team qualified for the UIL Class 4A Region 3 Cross Country Meet by placing third at the District 22-4A Cross Country Meet on Monday in Giddings.

    The regional meet will be held at Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park in Huntsville, with the 4A boys 5K race being on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 8:30 a.m.
