The Caldwell Hornets lost to Smithville 63-62 on a last-second shot on Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Smithville.
Caldwell led 22-14 in the first quarter, but the Tigers rallied in the second quarter with a 22-7 run for a 36-29 halftime lead.
Smithville held a 48-45 lead after three quarters before Caldwell rallied for a 62-61 lead in the final seconds.
