The Caldwell Hornets, 2-2 after a Sept. 19 win at Smithville, will play their final non-district game this Friday at home against 5-0 Lexington.
Caldwell, coming off a bye week, wants to get to 3-2, a major milestone, before launching district play on Oct. 10 at Giddings.
