Navasota beats CHS 12-2 in district opener

The Caldwell Hornets fell to Navasota 12-2 last Friday, March 21, in their district opener.Caldwell, 8-6 for the year, also lost to Thrall in their final non-district game 6-5 on Tuesday, March, 18.

Lady Hornets take fourth in Bellville

The Caldwell Lady Hornets placed fourth last Wednesday, March 19, in the Bellville Tournament with a team score of 410.The Lady Hornets competed against several other teams that they will face in the district tournament on March 31-April 1 at Pecan Lakes in Navasota.

Lady Jays lose two in district last week

The Snook Lady Jays had a rough week last week, losing two district games.On Tuesday, Snook traveled to Iola, and despite out-hitting the Lady Bulldogs nine to four, fell 12-7.Snook had a 7-3 lead in the sixth inning, but the Lady Bulldogs rallied in the bottom of the frame, scoring nine runs.
