Deputies to see pay hikes in county’s budget

A 38-year-old Dallas man was arrested on Monday, Aug. 11, on a 2023 felony forgery warrant in connection with the alternation of a Burleson County woman’s check, resulting in an $11,000 payment.

Trailer home debris burns on North Gray Street

An early Friday morning fire at 843 N. Gray Street burned up the debris from a recently torn down, singlewide mobile home.The fire was contained to that area without spreading to any surrounding property, said Caldwell Fire Chief Harry Bowers.
