CARSON EVERS WON the Overall Champion Fisherman title for the Kids Division at the Blue Boot Rodeo in Grand Isle, Louisiana. She also won first place in the Sheepshead category and swept the Red Fish under 27 inches category, placing first, second and third.

Burger sale to benefit Somerville Youth Sports

The First United Methodist Church of Somerville’s men’s group will host a hamburger sale beginning at noon on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the church’s Family Life Center.Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Somerville Youth Sports Association members.A burger, chips and a dessert will be sold.

City council eyes plans for Arrowhead Farms

The Caldwell City Council was scheduled to meet on Tuesday, July 15, to consider approval of a subdivision master plan for Arrowhead Farms Subdivision, phases 4-7.A public hearing was also planned prior to approval.The plan for phases 4-7 includes a total of 278 single-family residential lots.
