Pork steak church fundraiserThe Elizabeth Lutheran Church is holding its second annual drive-thru pork steak fundraiser on Saturday, May 10, from 4-5:30 p.m. Plates are $15 each, and will include pork steak and fixings. All tickets are pre-sale. There will also be a youth bake sale at the event.

County road clean up event set for May 10

Keep Burleson County Beautiful (KBCB) is hosting the final clean up event of its Spring Clean on Saturday, May 10.The event is a road clean up centered around county roads and farm-to-market roads.

RRC issues no new oil, gas permits in March

The Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) issued no new oil well drilling permits in Burleson County in March.The RRC report is for newly approved permits in the county, not for drill sites which were previously permitted.
