The Caldwell Hornets lost their last nondistrict game 34-6 at Lexington last Friday after showing improvement and keeping it close in the first half.
The Hornets, now 0-5, grabbed some early momentum with a 55-yard TD pass from Boone Turner to Coy Becka to give the Hornets a 6-0 first quarter lead and trailed just 12-6 at halftime.
