Caldwell senior to compete in girls long jump

    Last weekend, Caldwell’s Ja’Asia Mathis punched her ticket to the UIL Class 4A State Track & Field Meet by winning the UIL Class 4A Region 3 girls long jump title.

    The regional meet was held at Bullard High School.

    Mathis won gold by leaping a distance of 17 feet 10.5 inches.
