The Caldwell Hornets, struggling with injuries and some illnesses, lost five games over the weekend at the Houston County Holiday Classic Tournament.
Caldwell fell to 10-13 overall and was set to open district play on Tuesday, Jan, 2, at La Grange.
The Hornets lost to Grapeland 71-46 and to Coldsprings-Oakhurst 59-49 on Thursday, Dec. 28.
