The Caldwell Hornets finished the regular season strong with a 72-41 home win over Austin Achieve to finish tied for second in district play.
The Hornets were scheduled to face Wheatley in the bi-district playoff on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Bryan High School for their firstround playoff game.
Caldwell was seeded third in district behind Manor New Tech using a coin-flip tie-breaker.
