The Caldwell Hornets defeated Banquete 10-0 last Wednesday and fell to Gatesville 7-1 on Monday in a pair of home games, evening their record at 7-7-1.
Against Banquete, Caldwell scored 4 runs each in the bottom of the second and third innings and two in the bottom of the fourth to complete the scoring.
Caldwell finished with 6 hits and no errors, and Banquete had 4 hits and 1 error.
