The Caldwell Hornets lost a best two out of three series with Gatesville last weekend in the Area playoff in three locations, finishing 18-13-1 for the season.
Caldwell won game one 3-2 on Friday, May 10, in Caldwell. The game initially began on Thursday with a 2-0 Caldwell lead through three innings in Waco before it was delayed due to lightning.
