BC Minor Softball All-Stars advance to Texas East State Championship

  • THE BURLESON COUNTY LITTLE LEAGUE Minor All-Star Softball Team won the Texas East Section 1 title last week in Elgin and qualified for the Texas East State Tournament, beginning July 2 in El Campo. The team includes Avery Balboa, Bailey Barnes, Paisley Brack, Mckayla Collins, Jesenia Herrera, Macee Lewis, Karlee Praesel, Zoey Gausin, Braely Polasek, Carly Sheppard, Olivia Zamora and Caegan Kouatli. The team is coached by Adrian Sheppard, Haley Balboa and Flo Ortega.

    BC Minor Softball All-Stars advance to Texas East State Championship

    Burleson County’s Little League Minor All-Star Softball is the Texas East Section 1 8-10 champs and have advanced to the 8-10 year old Texas East State Tournament.

    Burleson County will face the winner of the Section 3 championship this Friday, July 12, at 8 p.m. at Heritage Field in El Campo.

    The tournament will last until July 18.
