The improved Caldwell Hornets, 2-2 after a 49-24 win over Smithville on Sept. 20, return to action this Friday after an open date for a road game at Lexington.
The always strong Eagles are off to a 5-0 start, coming off a 64-7 win over Hearne last Friday.
Lexington will be a big challenge, and a victory would be a major confidence boost headed into district play.
