Lady Hornets fall in area round to Salado

    The Lady Hornet volleyball season is over.

    After an easy threeset win over Stafford in Class 4A Division II Bidistrict, Caldwell faced Number 2 Salado in the area round, falling to the Lady Eagles in three sets.

    Last Tuesday in Brenham, Caldwell faced Stafford, beating the Lady Spartans 25-18, 25-10, 25-8.

    Caldwell was led by junior Tyniah Johnson with 13 kills and three blocks.
