The Caldwell Hornets rallied last Friday against Giddings, tying the score in the fourth quarter, but too many missed shots under the bucket in the final minutes proved costly in a 55-44 loss.
The loss dropped Caldwell, who had lost 83-44 on Jan. 14 to La Grange, to 11-14 overall and 1-3 in district play.
