A shed caught fire and burned down on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 10, off State Highway 36 South, north of Lyons, also destroying a lawnmower and some other yard equipment inside.
The lawnmower, parked inside the shed moments earlier, caught on fire, and the blaze then spread to the rest of the shed built in a pole-barn style with open sides and a tin roof, said Somerville Fire Chief Wayne Wilhelm.
