Bartolome “Noe” Bazan

A graveside service for Bartolome “Noe” Bazan, 88, was held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, in the Snook Cemetery, SH-60, F.M. 2155, Snook, Texas.

He was born on Jan. 11, 1935, in La Casita, Texas, to Pedro and Elvira Bazan.

Noe’s life was marked by hard work, simplicity, and a deep love for his family.

He dedicated his entire life to farming and ranching. He was a true steward of the land, tending to his crops and livestock.

He had a green thumb and enjoyed spending his free time gardening, nurturing bountiful harvests.

Noe also had a deep appreciation for the Wild West, spending countless hours watching classic westerns.

His greatest source of joy was his family. He cherished his beloved wife, Francisca, with whom he shared many years of happiness until her passing on Dec. 24, 2015.

He was a pillar of strength, guidance, and unwavering support to those he held dear.

He died peacefully on Oct. 9, 2023.

Noe is survived by four daughters; three sons-inlaw; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
