A public visitation for Carol Joan White, 80, of Caldwell, Texas, will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas.
Carol was born on October 23, 1943, in Bellaire, Texas, to Kurt Von Beckmann and Evelyn Elliott Beckmann.
She was one of three siblings.
Carol attended high school in Bellaire, Texas.
After graduation she attended Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas.
Carol met her husband, Joe White, in Caldwell, and they were married in August of 1985.
Carol was a middle school teacher and also taught special education.
She was the most organized and responsible person you could ever meet.
Among her favorite things to do were quilting, sewing stockings for her loved ones and reading books.
Carol also loved gardening and especially roses.
Playing dominoes (42) and spending time fishing at Lake Travis were also among her favorite pastimes.
Carol’s family is grateful for her life and devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her love for family and friends will be forever cherished; never forgotten.
She will be missed dearly.
She died on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023.
She is survived by one daughter; two sons; one sister; one brother; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
