Larry was born on Feb 5, 1950, to Harry and Delia Kubecka in Deanville, Texas. He was one of three siblings, Kenneth Kubecka and Darlene Kubecka Ryan.
In January 1969, he met Monica Fritsche in Houston, Texas, and they were married on Feb 28, 1970. To this union came two children, Sonja Kubecka and Deidre Kubecka Chapman and two grandchildren, Kinzy Miller, daughter of Deidra and Gracie Kubecka, daughter of Sonja. Larry always loved the fact that he was always surrounded by all girls -- his girls.
He was always a hard worker and spent 32 years at Alcoa in Rockdale to provide for his family.
Larry had several hobbies that included riding his Harley. (He always had a Harley).
He also enjoyed working outside to create beautiful landscaping, gambling with Monica, and was always busy helping others and being creative in anything he did. Mostly, he loved being with family and friends, laughing and joking like the character he was.
Though he was private with his religious beliefs, he was devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and we know that he is rejoicing in Heaven now.
He will be remembered for his creativity, fun-loving spirit, his playfulness, and with all that, the love for his girls…oh, and his mischievous grin.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Kubecka and Delia Kubecka; his brother, Kenneth Kubecka; and by his loving sister, Darlene Ryan.
He is survived by the love of his life, Monica; his daughters, Sonja and Deidra; and his granddaughters, Kinzy and Gracie, who all meant the world to him.
The family would like to express special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who have taken such good care of him over the years and to his hospice workers for helping all of us through this most difficult time.
Larry would also not allow us to forget to mention one of the people in his life who has been by his side, helped with endless projects and has given an unwavering friendship, Mr. Flint Gold.
Larry, you are loved, cherished and will be terribly missed by all of us here on earth, but we should all be comforted in knowing you are riding high with the spirit in the sky.
