Mac was born on January 22, 1956, to Pascual and Guadalupe Luna in Ben Arnold, Texas. He was one of 10 siblings.

He graduated from Caldwell High School in 1975.

Mac met his spouse,Anita in Caldwell, and they were married on April 25, 1987, in Bryan, Texas. To this union they raised three children Julian, Sara and Adam.

Mac held various job positions throughout his working career. He was most recently employed with CC Creations as a Warehouse clerk.

Mac was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

He loved his children so very much, but his pride and joy were his grandkids.

His family is truly grateful for his life and the devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and his wife and family.

He was beloved by so many and will always be remembered as a fun-loving guy who could make anyone laugh.

Mac had a fondness for Texas A&M, Elvis Presley, a hearty Mexican food meal and carrying peppermints in his pocket.

His heart of gold and the way he cared for those around him will be missed and forever cherished.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents, Pascual and Guadalupe Luna; as well as brothers, Jose, Adan and Cosme.

Mac is survived by his wife, Anita Luna of Caldwell; and his children, Julian (Denise) Luna of College Station, Sara (Joseph) Hernandez of Caldwell, Adam (Karena) Luna of Bryan; along with his shining stars (his grandchildren), Jayden, Jacob, Joshua, Jocelyn, Aaron, and Roman. He is also survived by Moses (Janie) Luna, Santos Luna, Conception (Mary) Luna, Pasqual (Nancy) Luna, Rita (James) Castaneda, Raquela Flores, and Brenda Luna. He had numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.

First, and foremost, he was fortunate to be raised in a faith filled home with loving parents and siblings. While not rich in material things but wealthy beyond belief in family and love. Every holiday was a reason to get together and enjoy family. For every family get-together he would lead us in prayer before the meal. Always coming up with the words that were needed on that day.

In the 67 years that Dad lived, he was so many things to so many people. He was a son, brother, husband, a dad, a popo, uncle, godfather and a friend. He lived for the happiness of others. His legacy and lifetime of memories will sustain us in the days ahead.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the following St. Mary’s Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
