Patsy Smith Willis, 94, of Caldwell, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Apublic visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.
Patsy was born January 4, 1929, in Caldwell, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Annie Blazek Smith.
Patsy graduated from Caldwell High School in 1946 and went on to attend Blinn College.
In 1948, she married her beloved HubertA. Willis, Jr. and to this union three sons were born.
Patsy worked with her husband for twenty-six years at the Texas Bulk Plant where he was consignee and later distributor for Texaco.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Willis; her parents, Cecil and Annie Smith (Blazek); her sister, Gwen Gray and her husband, James; brothers, Douglas Smith and his wife, Mary, and Bob Smith; as well as her granddaughter, Nikki Willis.
She is survived by her three sons, Mike and his wife, Becky, Allan and his wife, Nan, and Lee and his wife, Cindy; grandchildren, James, Erin, Jason, Rachel, Marc, Linda, Adam, Seth, Shelby, and Joshua; as well as her six great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Bluebonnet Hospice of College Station, especially Jeanne, Nancy, and Paula as they were true Angels to our mother and family. In addition, the family would like to thank Legacy Nursing Facility of Bryan for their dedicated and tireless care and effort to make their Momma more comfortable in her last days. To the staff at Baylor Scott & White Hospital, College Station as well as Cornerstone Hospital of Round Rock, thank you for the excellent care given to Momma. Marci Ramirez at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, Caldwell has been an Angel in the flesh for our family. We want to thank everyone for your prayers.
